Tim Daniels    |

Noble Tim Daniels became a member of the Oasis Divan line in 2016 on his appointment as 2nd Ceremonial Master by Ill. Sir Johnny King. This office places him in line to become Potentate in the year 2022.

Noble Tim has a very rich Masonic and Shrine History. He was born in Gastonia, and attended Hunter Huss High School. He has been employed with Duke Energy for the past 42 years at various locations.
He and his Lady, Leigh, have two lovely daughters, Carley and Conner. Carley is married to Ryan Paysuer and they have two sons, Levi and Ryan Jr. Most of you will remember, over the past 19 years, seeing Noble Tim and Lady Leigh at many Shrine functions, with both girls in hand. We have watched the Daniels girls grow into beautiful ladies over the years.

Noble Tim was raised a Master Mason in May, 1997 at King Solomon Lodge #704 Gastonia NC. He was made a Shriner November, 1997 at our Asheville Ceremonial. He currently serves as Treasurer for King Solomon Lodge having served as Master in 2000.

He is currently a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite Bodies, Past Director of Jesters Court 109, the Past Masters Unit, and the Red Fez Shrine Club. He is past president of the Gaston County Shrine Club and counts his service as President of Gaston County Shrine Club as one of his most memorable honors.

In addition to these memberships, Noble Tim has been a member of the Oasis Patrol since 1997. He has served as Captain of the Patrol, Captain of the Color Guard and Treasurer.

Noble Tim holds as his most memorable Masonic experience his election and service as Master of his Lodge, and his having been awarded Treasurer of Distinction by the North Carolina Grand Lodge.

He has quite a history with Oasis Shrine with a number of memorable experiences. During his service as Captain of the Oasis Patrol, they were awarded first place trophy in the SASA parade for Best Marching Unit. This was a first-time occurrence in the history of Oasis Shrine. In another first for Oasis, and while serving as Captain, the Patrol received the Walt Disney Award, presented by Illustrious Sir Wayne King.

His service to Oasis Shrine continued in 2012, 2013 and 2014 when he served as Marshal on the Oasis Divan. He is especially proud of having been awarded the Walt Disney Award, and to have been given Life Membership in Oasis by Illustrious Sir David Sumpter in 2014.

“Serving the Oasis Divan and Nobility in my various offices is both an honor and a privilege. I look forward to participating in activities and functions with many of our Nobles and future Nobles in all of the great things that Oasis does for our Hospitals and our jurisdiction”.
